AACS is pleased to offer volunteer opportunities in five core areas of our organization. Please read more below for a brief overview of responsibilities within each area.
1. Public Health Outreach


-provide help for the Family Support Program (FSP)

-educate people on available health, legal, human, and housing services available

-advocate for better policies in the local and state governments with a focus on health​

2. Advocacy and Voter Outreach


-conduct voter registration and education events in the Asian community

-unite agents of change through leadership development and advocacy work

-gain outreach, civic engagement, and community development experience

3. Special Events and Development


-provide support for areas like registration, data entry, greeting, set-up and clean-up, and community outreach

-share expertise in photography, videography, graphic design, decorating, and design

-commit to helping at notable events like Asian Festival and AACS Gala & Fundraiser

4. Healthy Asian Youth (HAY) Program


-mentor youth in leadership and life skills for future self-sufficiency

-accompany youth on field and trips and during recreational activities to ensure safety and well-being

-provide academic assistant with homework and foster good study habits


5. English Second Language (ESL)


-Become a volunteer teacher for our spring quarter classes April 9 - June 18. Classes take place 10 a.m. to noon.
