Asian American Community Services

GenerAsian NeXt is an annual youth leadership conference designed to empower Asian American middle school and high school students in Ohio. The goal of the event is to foster leadership skills within Asian American/minority youth by exploring students' identities and providing tools to be positive role models in the community.

This year's conference, GenerAsian NeXt 2011: Connecting Cultures, was a great success. Drawing in over one hundred youth and family members, the event offered workshops on leadership, family and community, college and career, and culture. Under the name "Teens Stand Up," Healthy Asian Youth (HAY) teenagers also contributed by performing dances and skits prepared over the summer.
